Elizabeth Bigham

Elizabeth Bigham is a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and has been so employed since March 2007. Agent Bigham was assigned to a field office where she worked on various criminal cases including homicide, armed robbery, child abuse or molestation, theft, aggravated assault, and rape. Agent Bigham was assigned to the Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit (CEACC) for just over 10 years, where she conducted proactive and reactive investigations involving crimes against children on the Internet. Those investigations included the possession, distribution, or manufacturing of child sexual abuse material (commonly known as child pornography), solicitation of minors via the Internet, and the commercial sex trafficking of minors. Agent Bigham is a certified instructor and has trained law enforcement, prosecutors, Judges, and other related fields nationally on child exploitation investigations. In October 2023, Agent Bigham transferred to the Office of Special Investigation’s Cold Case Unit where she reviews and investigates unsolved homicide cases. Agent Bigham received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Florida State University in 2005.
